Animals in Balance Acupuncture with Dr. Toolan

Colorado Mobile Veterinarian

Dr. LeeAnn Toolan is certified in all four branches of TCVM including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Food Therapy and Tui-na (Chinese Therapeutic Massage).

My practice philosophy and goal is to help each animal I treat to live as happy and healthy a life as possible for as long as possible. I think of my patients and clients as part of my veterinary family and treat them with respect, caring and compassion.

My work in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine is my passion and my way of contributing to the betterment of our world. I have had this quote on my desk for years, and believe it wholeheartedly:

“The way we earn our living can be a source of peace and joy… Our work can be a wonderful means for us to express our deepest self… When we do this, we are able to realize peace and joy, and the work we do will be of great help to ourselves and to the world.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
About Dr. LeeAnn Toolan Colorado Mobile Veterinarian
After graduating from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and completing a Small Animal Internship at University of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan Canada in 1994, I practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Colorado prior to relocating to New Hampshire in 2001. I began studying Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) in 2011, and in 2016 opened Animals in Balance Acupuncture practicing TCVM exclusively. As of May 2020, I am now certified in all four branches of TCVM including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Food Therapy and Tui-na (Chinese Therapeutic Massage). I utilize all branches in my practice with the goal of balancing the body and assisting it back to a healthy state.
